MICHAEL PATRICK DOMINICK was born in Burlington VT in 1985. He was raised for most of his life in a small suburb outside Philadelphia, where he spent much time visiting the theater in New York City. During his youth, Michael developed a passion for the arts, music, and entertaining. He grew up in a household with Italian, German and Irish influence, all of which plaid a role in his love of history, ancestry, and love of olden years of the music, film and telvision industries. Michael's dream of becoming a part of the entertainment world began at a young age.
Michael became involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation at a young age, too. In 1992, his younger brother Matthew was granted a wish by the Philadelphia & Susquehanna Valley chapter of the organization, after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. Matthew's wish was to travel to Walt Disney World, and Michael never forgot the experience the Make-A-Wish Foundation had given Matthew and their entire family during a time of great need.
Michael's brother Matthew is thankfully still with us today, 18 years cancer free and happily married to his beautiful wife, Meagan. They live togeher in the Philadelphia area.
When Michael entered his senior year of high school, he looked to his family as a role model and decided it was his turn to give back. With his passion for jazz, the Rat Pack, and musical performance, Michael produced, directed and starred in what would be his first of countless productions to benefit Make-A-Wish: A NIGHT AT THE SANDS: STARRING FRANK SINATRA & DEAN MARTIN.
The show was a great success, and from there a pursuit of entertaining the community began.
To date, Michael has produced, directed and performed in over 25 productions, including comedies, dramas, Broadway musicals, variety shows and reviews, all to benefit Make-A-Wish in Philadelphia, Syracuse, Connecticut, and New York City.
